Awards

  • 2009 Heritage Society of Austin, Merit Award, for the remodel of the WB Smith Building at 316 Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas. Award recognizes the adaptive use of an historic building, which had been converted to a Patagonia retail store.
  • 2009 Heritage Award, for the re-design of the historic Chase Mill at Tracy Aviary, Utah's oldest remaining industrial building.
  • 2004 Utah Business, 30 Visionaries - Women to Watch
  • 1999 Environmental Achievement Award US EPA, for educating the public about environmental issues through the Utah Society for Environmental Education Newsletter.
  • 1994 AIA Research Award for the Life Cycle Wheel for Construction and Demolition Debris, developed in partnership with Wesley Groesbeck of Environmental Resources, Inc. The Wheel outlines ethical actions that architects, other building professionals, government leaders as well as individuals can follow in managing C & D debris.
