What We DoCONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
The construction documents include drawings and written specifications. These documents serve as the "how to" manual for the contractor and defines your agreement and expectations. Drawings typically include: site and floor plans; interior and exterior elevations; building and wall sections; building and finish details; door, window, plumbing, appliance and finish schedules; structural plans and details; and mechanical and electrical plans. Specifications define the acceptable products that are to be used in the home. With the common use of products that release harmful substances into interior spaces, it is critical that these be defined. The specifications provide contact and source information for healthy products as a tool for the contractors and subcontractors. |
